Umatilla-Morrow County Connect Project

The Umatilla-Morrow County Connect (UMCC) Project will provide transmission system interconnection between Umatilla and Morrow counties. This interconnection will expand UEC’s 230 kV transmission system to increase reliability and capacity, support economic development and regional growth and provide a transmission path for renewable energy across the region.

Project Overview

  • UEC plans to kickstart the project construction in 2025. The transmission line is expected to be operational by the end of 2025.

Regulatory Approval

  • All plans are subject to receiving a site certificate.
  • This certificate must be granted by the Energy Facility Siting Council (EFSC).

Structure Size
